“ Staying next door at Hotel Andra, the restaurant was highly recommended and lived up to expectations. We asked for seating at the bar for a a little more lively evening. Following friendly welcome and feel at home vibe from the owner matre’d, our barman come all things Assaggio Ambassador ‘Sandro’. We had a very enjoyable night. From which wine pairing, to food recommendations, Sandro went the extra mile to mans our night special. Definitely recommend this place for all comers, but especially Aussies visiting Seattle. ”

The food was delicious; brought out hot and was cooked to perfection. The salmon special was to die for. The daughter (I’m so sorry, I cannot remember her name) was the hostess and told us the story of how they stayed open and adapted through COVID. The bartender, Sandro, is friendly, knowledgeable, and passionate about his craft. Francesca, the owner's daughter, proved to be warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the establishment. I stayed until closing and every single worker bid them goodbye and she acknowledged- truly a family oriented place and it shows. Will absolutely be back for more. ”

While it leans more toward fine dining, it’s the perfect place for a date night. The staff is amazing, they don’t even write down your order, yet they remember which I always think is such a fun touch. The food is outstanding. The gnocchi and vodka sauce are my personal favorites, but the servers always have great recommendations if you’re unsure. Definitely make a reservation because they fill up fast, and the tables are pretty close together, so be prepared for a lively atmosphere. One of the best things about Asiago is the off-menu pasta sampler, where you can pick three different pastas for your meal. I get it every time, it’s the best way to try a little of everything, and the portions are generous. Easily the best bang for your buck. Highly recommend! ”
